pretty_cynical: (OFFICE. blahsby.)
Long time, no update. Here goes.

School is going along fine. A little stressful, seeing as it's midterm time already - even though I've only been in classes for not quite two months. Luckily, they're not all in the same week and aren't all technically "midterms". I had my first exam in Social Problems last Monday (received an 82% - not as well as I thought I did - but it's the only first exam and I really didn't know what to expect, and I can make it up by doing really well on the other two), a take-home essay for Mass Media&American Politics due Tuesday (which if you saw my tweets Monday night, you know how hard it was for me to get through it), and the rest are all this week: I have a paper/presentation due Monday evening for Communications Research, and exams Thursday and Friday for World Politics and Concepts of Communication, respectively. So yeah, I'm going to be super-busy this weekend. If only the apartment wasn't so cold and there wasn't an America's Next Top Model marathon on Bravo right now, I'd totally be motivated to actually work.

In other real-life news, I NEED A JOB. BADLY. Though this is nothing new, I am running out of money way too fast for someone in my situation. I can't even pay off my credit card bill anymore, that's how bad it is. But sadly, I've been so busy with other school things that I haven't had a chance to check out Grand Valley's student employment office. Maybe after midterms are done and things quiet down academic-wise. If all else fails, I can see if the campus newspaper is still looking for people, even if it's going to be extra work.

TV has been hit or miss so far for me. Mad Men has been incredibly enjoyable as of late - it's really hitting its stride, and I'm anxious to see what's coming next. The Big Bang Theory remains hilarious as always, and I'm really warming up to Barney/Robin on How I Met Your Mother. CSI:NY and Criminal Minds have been really uninteresting this season so far, but I refuse to give either of them up because a) I'd have nothing to do on Wednesday nights, and b) I want to see them get better. I am, however, really excited that 30 Rock returns next Thursday - Liz Lemon&Co. have been absent from my life for far too long. I've also watched this weeks' The Office and House, but I think both of those need a re-watch and their own posts for extended thoughts and analysis. Those will come soon enough.

The NFL has also been in my life lately, which, yay. Great way to spend a Sunday, you guys. And my New York Giants are undefeated so far, which is awesome. Although I'm disappointed I don't get to watch as many of their games on TV as I'd like.
pretty_cynical: (AMERICANIDOL. somewhere over the rainbow)
I think I'm suffering through a migraine - I've never had one before, despite the fact that I'm relatively frequent sufferer of headaches, and damn, IT IS PAINFUL. Like, I couldn't even find a comfortable sleeping position because of it; the right side of my head hurts, and I usually sleep on my left side but couldn't due to the intense pain. I'm trying to take it as easy as I possibly can, and acetaminophen seems to be helping. Although the fact that it's coming in tandem with PMS isn't a lot of fun. So.

I realized I haven't talked about American Idol in awhile. )

Also, Glee! Where has this show been all my life, especially during my three years of choir&drama in high school? Seriously, it is that wonderful - so wonderful, in fact, that it led me to sing a medley of songs from my high school choir days as I was taking my shower last night. I have the slightest of crushes on Will, and I'm a little weirded out that the cheer coach is played by the same actress that plays Reid's schizophrenic mother on Criminal Minds, haha. And I'm obsessed with the music! So glad it's been put up on iTunes - and if they were to continue doing so (like that a capella version of "Gold Digger" from the promo? I WANTS IT), THAT WOULD BE AWESOME. The only thing that worries me about this show (and it seems to be a pretty common worry, from what I'm hearing) that it's on FOX, so a) Glee could be canceled without much notice, despite critical acclaim; and/or b) it could do a lot of unpredictable time-slot switching (as of now, it's set to air on Wednesdays from 9-10PM - up against Criminal Minds.) So I guess we'll just see how things go, but I definitely plan to watch!
pretty_cynical: (NEWYORK. miss montana.)
I'm pretty much cured of the sickness I had towards the end of spring break, whatever it was - although now I've developed a cough, much worse than previous ones. It seems to be decreasing, which is always a good sign, but it's gone on a lot longer than it should. I'm debating whether or not to bring it up with Mommy and see if I can get it checked out, but I'm pretty sure she'll just tell me to let it run it's course because it seems to be getting better. No one has mentioned anything during the 590633246 times I coughed over the past few days, especially those times I was coughing so hard I could barely talked, so I'm guessing I shouldn't really worry about it. I just hope I'm better soon, because I haven't been in the best mood lately.

Weekly television round-up. )

-

I was hoping my Amazon order would be here earlier this afternoon, since I checked the website as often as I could to see where my stuff was at and I was pleasantly surprised to find that it arrived at the post office earlier this afternoon, when it wasn't expected until Monday. But it hadn't arrived at my house yet, which means that if it's in town, it'll be here tomorrow. At least, I hope so. If it doesn't get here until Monday I'm going to be pissed, because I'll spend the weekend thinking about that instead of all the school things I have to do this weekend.

Now if the Converses I ordered could get here in less than 11 days, I'd be golden.

-

I have not done any homework today, despite how eager I was yesterday to get working. I planned on doing my Anthropology exam today (just to get it out of the way) and typing up part of my English paper, but of course, none of that happened - I showered and listened to music all day while anxiously checking on the status of my Amazon order. So the revised plans now are to do the Anthropology exam and essays tomorrow and my English paper on Sunday and Monday morning, if I need it. I also have my Film review, but I'm going to save that for Monday/Tuesday and turn it in on Wednesday because a) I still have no idea what I'm going to do, thus the need for extra time, and b) I really don't want to watch the movie we'll be watching that day. I think I can still do well if I turn it in later - the professor hasn't penalized anyone for a late assignment yet, I probably won't be the only one turning it in late, and I have late coupons if absolutely necessary. So we'll see how it goes.
pretty_cynical: (WESTWING. white house barbie.)
My English class can seriously go DIAF. Like, we haven't really done anything for the first few weeks (or discussed things that I already knew, given that I went to high school and took four years of English), and then this week, BAM! Research proposal due today, rough draft due next Wednesday, final draft due a week after that. On what, you ask? WHATEVER THE FRAK WE WANT. Which, in someways may seem like a good thing, but when you have to do a research assignment that requires numerous (and varied) sources, it sucks. I planned on doing something television related, but I can't think of anything substantial. I couldn't even come up with a decent sounding research proposal, so I didn't even do it and skipped class. I'm just upset that the professor doesn't even give us any guidance as to where to go with the paper. Seriously, how I am I going to learn how to write a good research paper if the professor doesn't teach me?

And I still have to do my Film paper on Mystic River this weekend. Great.

-

I have lots of TV to catch up on - I chose watching American Idol/taking a shower over Criminal Minds, CSI:NY wasn't really worth it (despite reading a spoiler earlier yesterday afternoon saying there would be something major) and 24 hasn't gotten any better. I still have last weeks House and yesterdays Lost to watch as well. This whole "basic cable with no DVR and being forced to watch most stuff online" really sucks. I wish I had my laptop so I could watch these things in bed.

However, I am working on marathoning season 6 of The West Wing - I watched the first two episodes on TV and the rest (six so far) online, usually one a day, more if I have the time. Although I'm about 3 episodes behind Bravo, so I'm trying to catch up as best I can so I can watch episodes on TV on Fridays since I'm home. I've forgotten how much joy this show brought me, even if it does suck at times.

-

I think I'm going to have to miss The Office and 30 Rock tonight, as much as I don't want to. I'm going to Grand Valley tomorrow morning for a transfer orientation and since it takes three hours to get from my house to there, I have to get up way earlier than usual, so I have to go to bed earlier. Also, it is Mommy's birthday today (the big 5-0!), so we might be doing stuff for that as well. At least I can watch them online, and it'll give my something to look forward to when I get home.

-

The weather yesterday was my favorite kind: rainy and spring-like. Now it's cold again and I miss it.
pretty_cynical: (MISC. coops!)
  1. I ate way too much at the inauguration party on Tuesday. In addition to the popcorn and sub sammich provided to me, I had a chocolate chip cookie and two whole packages of peach rings. This caused me to be super-hyper the rest of the day, so much so that I could barely work on the paper I had to write for Intro to Film. But by the time the balls rolled around on Tuesday night, I was definitely ready to go to sleep, and I was so tired that I almost fell asleep in Film Wednesday morning. I still haven't caught up on sleep; thank God it's the weekend!

  2. Speaking of the balls, the Obamas were absolutely adorable. I loved how genuine their love for each other came across as they were dancing - and that it didn't wear them down with each ball they went to. I didn't really like Michelle's dress; I thought she could do a lot better (although like Kelly Kapoor, she looks really good in white.) However, Jill Biden was A++ in that red dress! And she and Joe were looking adorable dancing together as well. Basically the entire night was wonderful and flail-inducing. I'm really excited about having them as our First and Second families, yo.

  3. I'm seriously considering printing out this photo on nice photo paper and framing it. SERIOUSLY.

  4. My Film professor admitted yesterday that on occasion she likes to watch movies with the commentary. I could definitely relate. True Story: I only watch "The Dundies" with commentary. I've only watched it without the commentary once, and that was when I watched with my cousins. I like all the on-the-set stories the cast&crew tell about filming an entire episode at Chili's.

  5. I thought about my high school during and after the inauguration - we drove by on our way to college that morning, since there only about two miles away from each other. I'm wondering if they got to watch it. My school was all girls and catholic and really conservative, so I don't even know how they reacted to Obama being elected. I remember having Bush's second inauguration on TV in 2005, but we didn't really watch it, just had it as background noise while we were in class. But I think Obama's inauguration is definitely more history-making, so I would assume they did. I'm pretty sure my Government teacher would've made his class watch it the entire hour and half they have class - he's really big into that kind of stuff.

  6. I was really disappointed to read some spoilers for upcoming Jim/Pam moments on The Office that were so blantantly put out there. However, I am excited there is a new episode tonight, and I'm assuming there's going to be some good Jim/Pam stuff, since the Dwight/Andy/Angela storyline is now (thankfully) dead. I am really glad my OTP is coming back to the forefront in these upcoming episodes.

  7. I'm upset that Criminal Minds is repeats for the next two weeks. I want Emily Prentiss' big secret revealed soon so I can find out if my hunch is correct - I almost thought they were going to reveal it in last night's ep, since my theory totally fit in with the case. CSI:NY and Numb3rs have repeats in the next few weeks as well. WTF, CBS?

  8. I haven't watched Lost yet (although I did read a few flist reactions - "CRAZY!" is basically the concensus), but ABC is re-airing it on Saturday night, so I think I'll watch it then. It currently conflicts with Criminal Minds, so I haven't decided how I'm going to watch future episodes yet. I don't know.
pretty_cynical: (WESTWING. baby it's cold outside.)
I really didn't want to get out of bed this morning. I even slept in for almost a half hour before finally getting up and going. It was so nice and warm in there compared to how cold it was outside. However, it did give me a chance to wear my super-warm leggings with tights underneath and my hipster scarf, which were absolutely necessary when walking between buildings on campus. We're having turkey tonight for dinner, but I'm going to have chicken noodle soup because it's just that kind of weather.

second day of second semester classes. )

Tonight's going to be spent with more school-reading (definitely less than last night, which I nearly fell asleep while doing), another 2 hours of American Idol (will save Criminal Minds for tomorrow after classes), and maybe the newest episode of CSI:NY, if I can get Mommy to watch the local 10 PM news upstairs. If not, I'll watch it online during my 3-hour break tomorrow. I'm so excited TV's back for the year!
pretty_cynical: (HOUSE. pity and fear.)
Thanks to House, I will have "Lime in the Coconut" stuck in my head ALL FRAKKING DAY tomorrow - just what I need. Also, Sean Connery impression! And the smallest of references to UMich! That is all.

a meme from tunaeverynight )

I'm going to go upload Christmas music to my iPod and then look over the paper I'm taking my speech from. That is, if I don't fall asleep first. It's been a long day and I'm exhausted.
pretty_cynical: (60; the best of me)
I was going to post this long rant about the bailout for the auto industry, but I deleted it at the last moment because I'm biased. Not only do I live near Detroit, but Dad works for Ford. So you already know my opinion: I really want this bailout. I don't want to see my state worse than it already is :(

I had mixed feelings about TV this week: CBS sweeps sucked (next week's episode of CSI:NY already looks better than the one this week; I miss JJ; and the only good part of Numb3rs was the end), while The Office was completely adorable. And Steve Martin was frakking GREAT on 30 Rock. So.

a random meme from tunaeverynight. )

Now I've got to go do homework. I don't have a lot - just one section of Stats and an Astronomy paper, but I got the Astronomy assignment about a month ago and just haven't gotten around to it yet. So now I've got to hardcore it. But I end up wasting my weekends, so it's probably not going to get done until right before class on Monday. It's already 7:30 PM on Saturday and I haven't even started Stats, despite the fact that I resolved to get the homework done right away and actually do it instead of copying the answers. I JUST WISH IT WAS TUESDAY ALREADY.
pretty_cynical: (m; poker face)
Astronomy exam went fine; I know I got a few of the multiple choice questions wrong, but I know for a fact I got the two diagrams right. So I'm anxious to find out what I got and am hoping it's better than the first one. I didn't study for Government AT ALL because instead I took a five-hour nap, but I think I did okay, and I'm pretty sure I got all the extra credit questions right, so that should help boost my grade a bit. ALTHOUGH THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IS THAT I'M ALL DONE WITH THIS WEEK OF STRESS AND NOW I AM FREEEEEEEEEEE.

Wednesday Night TV was wonderful. The entire night I was :DDDDD. And I'm laughing over the promos for next week; it must be sweeps if they're trying to pull off that ridiculousness.

A few quick things about The Office. )

Today is going to be one of those relaxing days; I'm putting off homework (3 sections of Stats and some Astronomy review questions) until the actual weekend. I had Chocolate Fudge Poptarts for breakfast and Dad's making cheeseburgers for lunch. I'm required to go for a walk today (sooner rather than later, as it's going to raining soon) and then I'm going to curl up and watch the last few episodes Prison Break. I'm slightly behind because I've chosen to watch Jon & Kate plus 8 instead, and I want to be ready for some big things that are supposedly coming in the next few weeks. And I'm not allowing myself to read spoilers until I'm all caught up.
pretty_cynical: (sn; let's stay together)
  1. I'm feeling a lot better than I did a few days ago; Sore throat is gone, and the stuffy/runny nose is disappearing as well.

  2. It's becoming more and more likely that I'm going to have to take my Speech class online next semester, because the only in-class option is on Wednesdays from 6-9 in the evening, which is super inconvenient to my parent's schedules. I haven't taken an online college course yet (I shied away from them this semester because I was taking a full load and there wouldn't be any time), so I'm pretty nervous, but I think I'll be able to manage one next semester. I've got the schedule roughly planned out where I'm only at school 4 days a week (no classes on Fridays again, whoop whoop) and am only there from 8 until 3 instead of 10 until 6, which is what my schedule looks like now. I'll talk to Mommy and Dad to see what they have to say. I hope they agree with me; I really don't want to take a late night class, especially with my Wednesday Night TV!

  3. All I have to say about Criminal Minds is that if Psycho didn't ruin staying in roadside motels for me, this episode definitely did. Also, isn't AJ Cook about ready to have her baby? I think so.

  4. My grandma (Dad's mom) is coming here later tonight, which should be a lot of fun. We watch a lot of the same TV shows, and I'm going to try to get her into The Office, because she's never seen it, but absolutely loves Steve Carell. Although it does mean I have to completely clean my room (plus bathroom) so she can stay there. Which is what I have to look forward to when I get home, because I was super-busy this past weekend entertaining small cousins and doing home work, leaving no time to clean. My room isn't super messy, so it won't take long, but still. I hate cleaning.

  5. I have several Astronomy related projects to do over the weekend, because I either lef them until the last minute, or they were done in class on the day I skipped. So in addition to doing 4 chapters of Stats homework, plus studying for a Stats test on Tuesday, I've got hours and hours of Astronomy to do. TRA-FRAKKING-LA.

  6. I'm really excited for House next week. But not for the reason that some other people are.
pretty_cynical: (o; communication)
I got my first Government exam back today; received a 79% (actually a 71%, but I got 8 extra credit points). I'm really, really unhappy about that. I really like government and politics and such, so you'd think I'd do well in the class; at least, that's what happened in High School. WRONG. I don't think it's as much my fault as it is the professor's. He's this really old guy who speaks in a monotone voice and just lectures for nearly the entire time. We basically do the same thing every class. Like today, we watched Newshour, he lectured for 45 minutes, we watched a video, he gave us the answers to the video, and we left. The sad thing about this is that he gives us the lecture notes and answers to everything, so we technically don't have to do any work, and then we don't learn anything. It's getting boring really fast and I hate it. (However, he did say that we've got two more exams before our final grade is tabulated, so I can do well on those and still do okay in the class. So there's that.)

After class, I got my hair cut! We've got family pictures coming up towards the end of the year, and my hair was getting long and ratty anyways, so now was the best time to get it cut. It's now just past my shoulders and flipped out at the ends. I can still put it in a ponytail, but I MISS MY LONG HAIR AND ALL IT'S RATTINESS! I haven't had it this short in years; I'm still getting used to it.

And then my packages came today! I got my Obama shirt (a little small, but if I don't wash it, it'll fit well; I'll wear it on Wednesday for the debate), a pink scarf (one of those cool hipster scarves that I FINALLY figured out how to wrap so it looks hip) and black Converses (they're actually a bit big, so I have to send them back and exchange them for a half-size smaller. So I won't get to actually wear them for another few weeks or so. Le sigh.)

I'm gonna talk about Criminal Minds sometime tomorrow after I re-watch it. I got distracted about halfway through it because Dad came home from refereeing a high school soccer game, where the goalie received a red card after yelling at one of the other referees, and discussed it with Mommy and I. I don't have a lot of homework to do this weekend (just 2 chapters of Stats, Speech research and some Astronomy), so that will definitely get done. It's going to be another lazy weekend.
pretty_cynical: (m; beautifully broken)
Feist's "1234" is my favorite song at the moment. I put it on my iPod a few days ago and now I can't stop listening to it. And then today after class I downloaded some Duffy, Death Cab For Cutie, and The Postal Service stuff, and listening to it excites me greatly.

-

The Obama phonebank last night was... interesting, I guess. I don't really know to describe it. The objective last night was to call a list of undecided voters, make sure they were registered to vote, and then try to persuade them to vote for Obama. I don't like talking on the phone, especially to strangers. And I'm not at all a persuasive person. Luckily the majority of the people on my call sheets weren't home (but then I had to leave messages, which is even more awkward than actually talking to people) or uninterested. There's another one next Wednesday, which I may or may not go to. Calling random strangers and asking them who they're going to vote for was not my idea of helping the Obama campaign here in Michigan.

However, I am oh so very jealous of [livejournal.com profile] tunaeverynight because she goes to college in Grand Rapids (which is on the other side of the state), and actually got to see Barack Obama earlier today. HOW AWESOME IS THAT? The opportunity to see him is all I've ever wanted from this entire thing.

-

Last night's Criminal Minds = ABSOLUTELY ACE. And next week looks even more awesome. (HI EMILY PRENTISS, YOU ARE MY FAV THIS TIME AROUND.)

-

The [livejournal.com profile] picspammy challenge this month is "casting", which I don't fully understand. I guess you're supposed to take a book/movie/tv show/whatever and do a picspam on who you think should have been cast in each role. I SERIOUSLY HAVE NO IDEA HOW TO DO THIS ONE. Other than my theory that Studio 60 is basically The Great Gatsby modernized and set in a television show in LA, I have nothing. (And I don't want to do Studio 60 again because I did it for my last entry, and even though the show is underrated and totally awesome, there are plenty of other things I could do.) So I may sit this one out, unless I can think of something. We'll see.
pretty_cynical: (o; BEST. CAST. EVER.)
HAPPY OFFICE PREMIERE DAY!!!

I can't believe it's FINALLY here after all that fear and excitement. Only 8 more hours!
  1. Walked out of Stats 20 minutes early because was getting bored and I just couldn't take it anymore. And then I nearly fell asleep in Government. I considered skipping class today but decided not to because I didn't want to miss today's quiz.
  2. Yesterday in English, we did this group project to work on forming different arguments for our Sicko-related paper. I thoroughly enjoyed my group; they were talkative (in a good way) and really open about things. And they were all 2008 High School graduates, which is such a rarity on this campus. So we had fun with it, and now I'm really confident about the paper I have to write on Monday.
  3. The Obama meeting last night was enjoyable as well. I was the youngest one there, and everyone was suprised at how politically aware I am. What's nice about the group is that it's really well organized and you don't have to make a serious commitment. There are meetings/phonebanks/canvassings every week, but I'm only going to attend a few because of my busy schedule. I'm participating in a phonebank next Wednesday, and I'm kinda nervous because I don't like talking on the phone and I'm not persuasive. But there's a training session before we start calling people, so I hope that diminishes my fears and all goes well.
  4. Both Criminal Minds and CSI:NY lacked awesomeness.
  5. I'm going to be super busy this weekend: finish up my picspammy project, do tons of Statistics problems, work on my Speech, and study for my first Astronomy exam that's next Wednesday. I hope it goes better than my Stats one.
pretty_cynical: (60; network president)
There are three reasons Fall is my favorite season: the start of school; the weather gets cooler, but is still bearable; and the start of a new season of television. )

-

It's currently raining pretty hard here, which is perfect "stay inside and work on homework" weather. If only I was actually motivated to do it (and I somehow need to get motivated, because I have a lot to do and need to get it done ASAP so I'm not rushing to finish it later.) And Michael Phelps is hosting Saturday Night Live tonight, so there's that.

BEES!

Oh, Pushing Daisies. WHY ARE YOU SO AWESOME?

It's a shame that I have a super busy college schedule and a packed TV lineup this fall (SERIOUSLY); otherwise, I would totally be watching/slash obsessing over this show. WHY, CBS, MUST YOU HAVE A HOLD ON ME WITH YOUR WEDNESDAY NIGHT TV LINEUP FULL OF CRIME?
pretty_cynical: (newamsterdam / subway)
I'm very, very tense because I can't find a clip of the preview for next weeks' New Amsterdam episode ANYWHERE and I really need to see it just so I can get all these "OMGYAY!" feelings out of me so that there's at least some coherency when it comes time to talk about the past two episodes. SERIOUSLY, I CAN'T STOP THINKING ABOUT IT AND I DEFINITELY CANNOT WAIT 5 DAYS.

(I suppose I could watch the commericals during American Idol tonight, but a) I didn't watch it last night, so it would be pointless; and b) there's a strong possibility that they won't show them, due to the timespan between Wednesday and Monday nights. Plus, I've truly missed my Wednesday night TV nights; American Idol is not a part of them.)

-

In other news, Criminal Minds returns tonight, and I've long suspected (at least, since CBS showed commercials over the weekend), that Paget has gotten bangs, and those suspicions were confirmed this morning as I was reading the newspaper. I promptly wept.

Also, an The Office spin-off is coming post-Superbowl in 2009. What I've read generally seems to be negative reactions (which I totally agree with), but as it gets closer to the premiere, I'm hoping we'll hear better things. I'm just excited to get the original The Office back in EIGHT DAYS!
pretty_cynical: (rock star.)
One of the commentators on CNN (she was a woman) said "Hard fart nomination" instead of "hard fought nomination". Made me laugh so hard.

I've been on the CNN website practically all night (I love that little map thing), and I'm totally pleased with the results - Obama! Although if Hilary comes in third, it will be so much better. Edit: She totally did. YAYZ. And she sounds like she's conceding, ha.

HI, ANDERSON COOPER. YOU ARE PRETTY AWESOME. But that computerized chart? Not so much.

-

I'm glad to know that I count on NBC to support the little people. /sarcasm

-

I have school orientation tomorrow, and then I go back to classes on Monday. Which means that tomorrow, I have to do my AP Spanish homework, and I still haven't looked at it. Why did I procrastinate? Why did break go by so fast? WHY?

-

I finally have my new camera (a Nikon Coolpix L11 - named Halpert) and S2 of Criminal Minds. I watched a few discs of Studio 60; I only have four episodes left. I'm going to try to move on to Criminal Minds afterwards, but I won't really have time once school starts. ARGH. I've wasted my time!

-

NOTE TO SELF: WRITE, WRITE, WRITE. That story isn't going to write itself, you know.
pretty_cynical: (i'm wishing my life away.)
Dear Criminal Minds,

CSI totally has dibs on the crazy directing/cinematography stuff, so don't take without asking, okay?

Sincerely,
Maureen.

ALSO. Am not so excited that I have to wait until December 12th for a new episode. Writer's Strike = not so much fun for me now. I WANT MY SHOWS BACK, PLZ.
pretty_cynical: (team hotch.)
I think I kinda have to talk about this episode now. Because of all the drama this week.

Criminal Minds, 3X02, In Birth and Death. )
pretty_cynical: (ny ; i'm broken in two.)
This week is pretty much finale week (except for Prison Break, which starts on Monday), so next week, all the craziness begins.

FYI, this is just a list of the fall premieres. 24 and Lipstick Jungle don't premiere until January, so they'll get talked about towards the end of the year.
