I drove Mommy to the library last night, which I though was a bit easier than driving during the day. Although Mommy yelled at me for lane changing too early when I was turning into my subdivision. I am getting better, which is good.

I started The Good Earth today, a whole week after I was supposed to start it. It's fairly confusing, and the CliffsNotes aren't really helping. I have to read nine chapters by Friday (and I'm only on chapter one), but if I read three chapters a night I should be finished and have the CliffsNotes reviewed *crosses fingers*.

My Writing Styles class =TOTAL HATE.  It's a class that I didn't even want but somehow I'm taking it. I can't stand the teacher (I had a really hard time with her freshman year), and all the work is time-consuming and pointless. I have two papers due soon in the class: a 3-pager on investigative journalism in All The President's Men (this is due Friday, but I haven't even started it yet - I'm unsure how to write it) and a 4-page research paper in which I have to cite everything. Literally, EVERYTHING. (And unfortunately, I can't use Wiki.) ARGH.

I haven't watched Prison Break yet, since Mommy wanted to watch Deal Or No Deal, but I'll watch it later today or sometime tomorrow, if I have the time. But I did watch 24 and Studio 60, and they were most excellent.

Off to do my homework.

FINALS ARE DONE. FINALLY.

Today is Kiefer's 40th birthday. To celebrate, I will be watching I Trust You To Kill Me (again - it's on really late tonight so will watch tomorrow), and maybe 24. That is only if the DVD player can be hooked up. We shall see.

Went to Secretary of State today after finals with Mommy to get my license. I had to fill out a form and take a vision test, both of which were really easy. I can't actually start driving until tomorrow, because we're getting a second brake installed. I may be going out driving with my dad tomorrow. I need to get a lot of practice in.

Why did I tape CSI:NY last night? WHY?

I PASSED MY DRIVER'S TEST!

I got 95%, which is a lot better than I thought I did. Now all I have to do is complete 2 more hours of driving and I'm done with Segment One. I'm so excited.

The Nine is on hiatus. What will I do with my Wednesday nights? Although this might be good news for Kimby, seeing as she can't be on 24 and The Nine. So maybe she's going to be in more episodes of 24 than she originally planned? That would be so awesome.

This bit of not-so-great news to add to the fact that I'm sick, have an oral quiz in Spanish that I'm totally not prepared for, my driver's ed test is on friday (need to study for that), can't get the song "Konstantine" out of my head, and having an overall feeling of laziness. Oh, and haven't even watched Studio 60. MUST AVOID SPOILERS. Trying, yet failing.

However, driving is getting better. I drove yesterday, and did really well, except for almost getting myself into an accident. My instructor says I'm doing well, although I've still got awhile until I'm "there". Going driving on Saturday at 8:30 am (!) and after that I've got one more driving session and then I'm all done. I think.

Also, GIP & GLP. Layout may be changed though.

Lots to say.

01) I hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving. I did. Had good times with the little cousins and ate a ton of food. Watched the parade as well. The only bad part about my Thanksgiving was that our DVD player wasn't hooked up so I couldn't watch Shibboleth. Oh well.

02) My driving is going a lot better than I thought it would, although my instructor is a bit concerned about me. He says that I'm having a hard time understanding where I am in relationship to the road. (Basically, I'm not paying attention.) He also says that it may be a vision problem, and that I should get my eyes checked ASAP. That's probably a good idea, seeing as I haven't had my eyes checked since the summer before sophmore year. May do that sometime this week.

03) Grey's was not as good as it was hyped up to be, although being able to watch Grey's and CSI on the same night without commericals was most excellent. And watching it with Graham was mucho fun, seeing as we laughed the entire night, Even at the serious parts.

04) I made my christmas list, but I'll post it later.

05) The 24 Day 6 cast picture is here, and although Audrey is not in it, I am loving Chloe's hair. And Larry from Numb3rs is in it too! How exciting.

06) I AM IN LOVE WITH THIS SONG. Srsly.

The right side of my head has been hurting off and on all night, and I have no idea why.

studio sixty. )

Regarding Driver's Ed: Did anyone else realize there's a hidden arrow in the FedEx logo? Oh, and I'm driving on Sunday. SO NERVOUS.

I start driver's ed in a little less than two hours, and I'm freaking out.

This weekend was totally a KieferSutherland weekend. Watched I Trust You To Kill Me Saturday night on vh1, which was totally amazing and amusing at the same time. And then Sunday night he was on The Simpsons, and it was totally hard to tell that it was him with the accent. But him saying "FRONT LINE INFANTRY!" was hilarious.

When you see this on your f-list, quote 'The West Wing'

LEO: Andrew Jackson, in the main foyer of his White House had a big block of cheese.
TOBY: Huh.
LEO: I am making a mental list of those who are snickering, and even as I speak I am preparing appropriate retribution. The block of cheese was huge - over two tons. And it was there for any and all who might be hungry.
TOBY: Leo, wouldn't this time be better spent plotting a war against a country that can't possibly defend itself against us?
LEO: We can do that later, Toby. Right now I'm talking about President Andrew Jackson.
SAM: Actually, right now, you're talking about a big block of cheese.
LEO: And Sam goes on my list!
SAM: What about Toby?
LEO: I'm unpredictable. Jackson wanted the White House to belong to the people, so from time to time, he opened his doors to those who wished an audience.
MANDY: And then he locked the doors behind them and made them eat two tons of cheese.
LEO: It is in that spirit...
SAM: Hang on. Mandy doesn't go on the list?
LEO: Mandy's new.
SAM: So it's just me... on the list?
LEO: Yes. It is in the spirit of Andrew Jackson that I, from time to time, ask senior staff to have face-to-face meetings with those people representing organizations who have a difficult time getting our attention. I know the more jaded among you, see this as something rather beneath you. But I assure you that listening to the voices of passionate Americans is beneath no one, and surely not the peoples' servants.
JOSH: [walks in with C.J.] Sorry we're late. Is it "Total Crackpot Day" again?
LEO: Yes, it is.
SAM: And let us please note that Josh does not go on the list.
