pretty_cynicalI'm using my Seth Myers/John Krasinki icon because I'M GOING TO NEW YORK CITY ON MONDAY.
I've known about the trip for a few months now, but have failed to mention it. It's through the Fine Arts department at school, and I leave Monday night and come back Friday morning. We're doing every touristy thing you can think of: Central Park, World Trade Center Site, Rockefeller Center (not NBC unfortunately, and I can't go on the tour by myself), Times Square, seeing a Broadway play, SHOPPING (even though we're not going to NBC, I still want to get a Fun Run shirt), and so many other things that I can't even think about them now.
I leave in two days, and I haven't done laundry or packed. The only preparations I've made are putting more minutes on my phone and getting library books to read. There's also a very strong possibility that I'll be getting an iPod beforehand (I just cashed the checks to pay for it today, but my parents still have to talk some things over), so I'll have all my music, every Peyton episode of CSI:NY, some NCIS, and New Amsterdam to keep me occupied. Cross your fingers!
My College Writing teacher is coming along, and the Hotel we're staying at is only 1 mile away from Giants Stadium. IT'S GOING TO BE AWESOME!
I also plan on keeping a lookout for any television stars; there could be some wandering around, now that television is back. You never know.
