GRAND VALLEY. I don't think I've mentioned how excited I am to go there in a few months. I'm even more excited now, since I attended orientation Friday on campus. The only downside was that Dad and I had to leave the house at 5 AM to make it to the orientation at 8:30, but the actual session didn't start until almost 9:30. I met some really nice fellow transfer students, and the professors who led our orientation session - one from the Advertising/Public Relations department, one from Communications - were a lot of fun and made us all feel at ease. Dad and I walked around the campus a little bit, which I'm still very much in love with from when I visited last Fall. I can't wait to be living & going to school there permanently. I'm able to start registering in April, and I'm anxiously counting down the days, looking at the classes I'll take and working out a schedule in which to take them. I cannot wait to leave this stupid community college behind - I really don't like my classes, I hate all of the people here, it's not a great fit for me; but I have to go here because it's cheap and convenient for my parents. Grand Valley is really where I belong.
