Yesterday, Government was canceled, I got Burger King during Speech, and slept in my own bed. Could I have asked for a better day? Not really.

I really don't now what to say. It felt really predictable, and I was disappointed. The Medical Case of the Week? INCREDIBLY BORING.

I ultimately knew that Cuddy wasn't going to get the baby; that's what happens in TV whenever an adoption takes place. There was a thought in my mind that it was going to end up one of three ways, two more likely than the other. The girl&her baby would be fine and Cuddy gets the baby and we all live happily ever after (highly unlikely), the baby dies, or girl&baby are fine BUT girl decides to keep baby for herself. The last scenario is the one that took place. Seeing Cuddy prepare for the baby by painting the nursery yellow and her holding the baby in the operating room gave me some hope, but then to find out that she wasn't going to get the baby broke my heart. I mean, she already named the baby "Joy", for gosh sakes. And then she decided to give on trying to have a baby. So sad. I really wanted her to FINALLY get a baby after all these years; she'd really make a great mother. I DESPERATELY WANT TO SEE FALLOUT FROM THIS, BUT WITH THIS SHOW BEING THE SHOW THAT IT IS, THAT IS HIGHLY DOUBTFUL.

I don't know what to feel about the House/Cuddy kiss. I didn't love it, but I didn't hate it either. I don't really have a particular "ship", but I'm interested to see how this relationship plays itself out. To me, it feels like a downfall, but then again, this show stopped being really interesting and exciting for me towards the end of Season 3. But I'll keep watching because I'm too invested in this show to give it up right now. Two weeks from now is the big Chase/Cameron episode, which I'm semi-excited about because we've barely seen those two together (or separately, for that matter) this season, and I predict lots of awkwardness. Plus, there's a little Wilson/Cuddy stuff that want to see because it's a callback to that batch of episodes in Season 3 where they go on dates, and they're adorable episodes that are some of my favorites.

Dad turned in his absentee ballot today before taking me to school (he has Election Day off, but the lines at the polling place are probably going to be really long and he doesn't want to wait), and he told me he voted for Obama, which I was extremely happy about. I hope I can get Mommy to vote the same way. I am worried about getting myself to the polls; Mommy might be working, I don't drive, it'll be too cold to walk to the polling place, and I have classes from 10-4 that day. And I can't vote absentee for this election because I'm a first-time voter. I'm determined to go to the polls and actually fill out a ballot, so I hope this whole thing works out. AND I REFUSE TO WALK IN THE MICHIGAN COLD THAT IS NOVEMBER WEATHER.
