strange dreams.

I've had some pretty weird dreams in my lifetime, but this was probably the weirdest, not to mention the most depressing. I almost woke up crying.
So I'm at this place that's a cross between the Secretary of State's office and the security area at the airport. I go through this metal detector at put these documents in a scanner-type thing. I think they had something to do with proving that I was a US citizen, because they come out of the scanner with "DENIED" stamped at the top. I burst into tears at this point, because I have no clue why my citizenship was denied, because I can totally prove it. (Ironically, the workers at this station were Hispanics with accents.) They tell me that I can get my citizenship approved if I go to a hearing, but since I'm by myself and underage, I have to have an adult represent me. So one of the female workers takes me over to the waiting area and asks, "Who wants represent Vice President Dick Cheney's daughter?" A few people volunteer and all of them are rejected except for a blonde woman that I don't recognize. AND I WOKE UP BEFORE IT COULD BE RESOLVED.

I'm going to go take a shower, then it's time for me to GET MY STUDY ON, because the Olympic Closing Ceremonies are tonight, and I'd like to fully watch them. (Apparently they were on this morning on the Canadian channel, but it was almost over when I woke up. So. I'd rather watch them on NBC in HD anyway. There might be more promos for The Office!
