Happy New Year, alls.
1. What did you do in 2006 that you'd never done before?
drive.
2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
honestly, i can't remember my new year's resoultion for 06, so i obviously didn't keep it. i made one for this year, but i'm not going to say it, because i don't want to jinx it.
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
no. but i found out this summer that my aunt is pregnant with her fifth child, so does that count?
4. Did anyone close to you die?
surprisingly, no. the past two years actors from television shows that i watch died around christmas (jerry orbach died in 2004, john spencer in 2005), but i've been lucky this year.
5. What countries did you visit?
i spent america's independence day in canada. how weird.
6. What would you like to have in 2007 that you lacked in 2006?
people besides my family to talk to.
7. What date from 2006 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
there are a lot.
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
i didn't have one.
9. What was your biggest failure?
algebra two.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
a horrible kidney infection, a few colds, and a weird flu-like thing right before finals.
11. What was the best thing you bought?
lost of things.
12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
um. gonna have to think about that for a second.
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
the president.
14.Where did most of your money go?
magazines that i have only read once and will probably never read again. and starbucks.
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?

konstantine by something corporate.

taller. and a little more than halfway done with high school.
18. What do you wish you'd done more of?
i wish i'd tried harder in school.

procrastination.
20. How did you spend Christmas?
church. presents. watched waaaaay too much numb3rs. dinner at champps. bed.

no.

none.
24. What was your favorite TV program?
24 (and numb3rs & studio sixty towards the end of the year.)
25. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
oh yes. i met a bunch of new people who don't know anything.

man of my dreams by curits sittenfeld.
27. What was your greatest musical discovery?
snow patrol and the song "konstantine". oh, and rocco deluca & the burden.
28. What did you want and get?
lots of things.
30. What was your favorite film of this year?
FINALLY saw thoughtcrimes.

sweet sixteen. went shopping at the mall, buying totally unnessary things. dinner at red robin. reese's peanut butter cup ice cream cake. 24 and WW DVD's. watched 24. bed.
32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
um. can't decide.
33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2006?
Hot jeans and black tops. Spaghetti strap tank tops.

the television.

the war. the midterms. the 08 presidential elections.
