one step at a time.
May. 25th, 2009 10:17 pmSo I'm really exhausted and heading to bed shortly (a whole two hours earlier than usual!), but I'd thought I'd do a quick update since I haven't done one in a few days.
I had a surprisingly fun and productive Memorial Day today, even though it didn't involve anything about remembering those who died in battle. I woke up around 11 and did a little bit of cleaning, and planned to spend the afternoon bumming around and watching the Jon & Kate plus 8 marathon. However, my parents were totally against us spending the entire day inside watching TV when it was perfectly nice outside, so we made the totally random decision to go to the mall. Graham and Monica were actually itching to go - they each made over $250 refereeing a soccer tournament this weekend; I just went because I like shopping and hadn't been to that particular mall in about a year. I didn't have a ton of money, but did end up buying a few things - this shirt, this scarf and these sunglasses from Delia's, plus rings and hair clips from H&M. Monica was nice enough to buy me a lip balm from Bath & Body Works and a pair of clip-on earrings from Claire's due to the deals they had - I paid her back in the form of Mrs. Fields cookies!

inrevelations story, despite the fact that I promised myself I'd at least start it over this past weekend and it's due by the end of the week. I'm seriously considering just not doing it, but I don't think that would be fair to the person I'm writing it for. So I'm seriously going to try and write something over the next few days, and just hope that it turns out as well as I want it to.
