I'd tell you how my surgery went, but I really don't remember any of it. I did get some Starbucks afterwards for my troubles, which was pretty much the highlight of the whole thing. I did really well with the whole needle thing; it was really easy, and didn't hurt much going in. I'm kind of surprised my arm doesn't more than it does. It's easier to type than I thought.

My mouth is somewhat swollen and bloody, and my cheeks and chin hurt, and I'm on lots of pain meds, which helps. I'm really hungry and a bit nauseous, and I don't know what I should do to rectify that, because I really don't feel like eating now. I'm so jealous of the rest of my family: they're eating beef stir-fry (one of my favorites!), and I'm stuck eating Ramen. Not that I'm complaining: I do like Ramen, but am probably going to be sick of it by the time this is over.

Am still really tired, even though I took a nap earlier.
